This terminology dates back to a "Holler" somewhere in Walker County. HOLLER......reference to a ravine,Valley that is usually all Hardwood and sometimes has a "Branch" running through it. BRANCH MINNERS......reference to Minnows caught in a small creek which quite often are "Hawny-Head" Minners"....aka "Creek Chubs"
