Looking to make a trip to the great state of Kentucky for a warm up and to try my luck on some of these big archery kills. Looking at a few WMA's. Some in Blue Grass area(North Central) some in Purchase area (South West). Anybody have a suggestion. This will be a first in KY. Thanks for the help in advance!!
I have hunted Clarks River National Wildlife Refuge and had a blast. Soybean fields are huge. Sign was everywhere. I did not kill one but had a great time. If you are going to hunt 5 days, scout 3. Kentucky has some beautiful land.

John A. Kleber WMA is the one I hunted at I believe. It is bow only if I have the right place. Or it could have been Dr. James R. Rich WMA. Unsure of which one. Lots of deer. Usually went during the week. Some folks up that way do not like oos hunters.
