I’m not quite sure why there is a debate at all. Newsome currently isn’t running and Desantis isn’t on the Republican ticket yet. because politics is like sports, the media knows that the American populous is eager to lap up the tribalism even on a random thursday night. They know full well too that they can cash in the following day with articles and snippets before our collective attention span fades into the weekend.
