Delt. with a torn labrum in my right shoulder. Not sure in your age, but a labrum tear can heal without surgery. I fought with mine for close to two years, but between a handful or cortisone injections, I physical therapy and being careful with that shoulder for a bit, mine eventually healed and I am back 100% with full strength, range and zero pain and did not have to get cut on for it. Same here, i was about to go under the knife but hated the thought of the long rebab . Took it as easy as i could on the shoulder for the next couple yrs & it finally got better. Still some minor pain at times but was able to avoid surgery
