Good deal. I’ve seen multiple bucks here on public land In Illinois this week. 3 have been shooters that wouldn’t come into range. I passed one this morning I would have probably shot on public land in Alabama. We are just seeing so many big ones on the roads at night it’s hard to fill a tag on an average deer when you see what could possibly walk by. We are hunting until Saturday morning and a cold front is rolling in tonight so we’ll see what happens! When I get back to Alabama I probably will give deer hunting a break until after Christmas and I plan to use more vacation time in January to hunt public land in Alabama.

Saw 8 does yesterday in a group but no bucks comin out behind…we are getting close but rut in my area hasn’t cranked up yet. Working all weekend but will try next week again.

I did not fill my buck tag in Illinois. I will be hunting public land in Alabama and have a few invites to hunt Private land. I will be hunting hard in January and should get a buck and probably another doe.

Kill em up MC! I’m going Saturday am. Rut should be kickin up up here. Will be doing my best to kill one. Otherwise, will be hunting a little each month in the rut from north bama in December to my place in south bama during January rut. Wish we got bonus points with hogs cause I could rack em up 😂

Got an 8 this morning. Not a trophy but was the first deer I've taken from my own property. Rack is kinda like me, Short & Wide.

Good buck man. I won’t be back in the woods until next Sunday. I’m going to do a gun hunt at one of the WMAs I hunt and plan to shoot the first legal buck I see.

Broke away to work at the camp…finished a shooting house. Saw some turkeys and heard hogs all Saturday afternoon in the stand but no deer. It’s not good there until January which is when we hit it hard

I’m gonna leave the WMAS close to my house alone for a little while. I’m thinking about taking a trip to Oakmulgee for the gun hunt in mid December

Struck out on wma yesterday. Going to hunt some private in the am. Will be hunting a bunch this weekend as well

Kill em up! I hunted yesterday afternoon and saw nothing on private. Duck hunting before church Sunday then hunting a new spot with the front…who knows. I’m ready for south bama in january

I actually shot a doe 2 nights ago but forgot all about getting a picture. Hopefully we won't need it but I plan on killing one more doe this season and then hopefully a buck or 2 or 3 in January.

January's gonna be where it's at for me. Hopefully I can get a couple good ones

Yes sir, all my free time in January will be spent in the woods, I only work 3 nights a week as it is and the 3rd and 4th week in January I am only working 2 shifts a week and burning PTO

Same here boys…I’ve been duck hunting a few times and having fun with it but will be hitting it hard a couple of weekends in January. Just dropped down to camp to put stands up, cameras up, and duck hunt but don’t have time to deer hunt as wife put an ultimatum on me to be back by 2:30 for our sons first Christmas 😂
