I hate the boogs. I hope everyone of them cries themselves to sleep after that slight glimmer of hope that was stripped away during the every last 48 seconds of that game. Gotta water those new trees somehow!

Neither side can complain about the officiating, it was the absolute worse.. It sucked for both sides………….
Bama had call after call go against them all night......Auburn had one questionable face mask that wasnt called. Did you not see the Auburn guy rape Bama’s kicker? Bama had a lot more penalties not called and favorable calls (first down) that weren't reviewed. Punter is legal to hit after he kicks when he gets out of the tackle box. Shouldn't be looking up in the air.

Anyone from either side, that thinks the refs cost one team more than the other, is dilusional.
What stuck out most to me, is how AU lined up and ran the ball with as much success as they had, and also how AU rushed 3-4 linemen, pretty much all night and still kept the score within reach. Milroe had all the time in the world to throw, on most plays.

Saban has beat 6 Auburn coaches at Alabama:
Tubbs, Cheesedip, Malzahn, Harsin, Cadillac and Freeze.
Pretty impressive 4 of.them beat saben, pretty impressive also! Two only coached against him once. Two beat him more than once, one WILL beat him next year! I think the point was that Auburn has had 6 coaches since Saban has been consistently winning Division, Conference and National Championships at Alabama. It makes you wonder how much Auburn has spent on all those coaches and if it adds up to more than what Alabama has been paying Saban all these years? And what have they got in return for their money?

Milroe had all the time in the world to throw, on most plays. Fur I agree about auburn running the ball. Their success in that are was surprising. The coaches said before the game they weren’t planning on trying to sack Milroe but we’re trying to contain him. They had a spy on him all night. Ole Miss did the same thing and was pretty successful with it. You are right though, giving him that much time in the pocket did hurt Auburn a few times. But it also kept his scrambling run plays in check pretty good. Ray Charles could have made that last throw will all that time. I think the more truer statement would be that Ray Charles could have adjust to that pass and knocked the ball down with all that time. #4 did a horrible job on that play and Bond made a great catch.

I said it earlier. The game and momentum changed on 1 play. The holding penalty that took a TD off the board completely changed the momentum and trajectory of the game. Bama was steamrolling Auburn and when that TD got called back, Bama never again seemed in sync. You couhd even see it in the kicker’s eyes when he lined up for the 42 yarder. I told my BIL “look at his eyes. He has no confidence. He’s gonna miss it.” He makes that kick, we can win with a short FG instead of needing a TD. The whole team seemed vexed and the mental errors by Milroe are dang near unforgivable. He keeps his head and Bama wins by 2 scores easily. Hopefully the team learned some stuff about themselves and never, ever, give up.
Was an unreal game. RTR! See y’all in Atlanta next week!

Everyone else was back in coverage. 2 rushers and a spy on Milroe. Which makes it even more improbable. 8 defenders back there spread all over the end zone and somehow Milroe puts the ball in an area smaller than a 2 man shooting house and Bond makes an incredible catch to win. I still can’t believe it.
