How old do you put him ? I’m not the best but trying to get better. I can tell hey. That ones old. Or that one’s young I believe. But the yearly is what gets me.

2.5 or 3.5? I’d lean to 2.5 on that one.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

2-2.5 to me I find it better to not look at horns when aging, focus on the chest area, think race horse slender equals younger than I want to shoot. Then quarter horse build usually mature

I got an 8pt. No monster, but 3.5. had 4 bucks walk out on a green field he was the biggest. And last. They came out about 3:30.

Still learning as I go. Really interesting to see a 1.5 year old spike, 2
2.5 year old rack bucks and then the one I killed. Big difference. Now I want to see what a 4.5 looks like.

The 6.5 Grendel dropped him where he stood. Since Thanksgiving I have seen 22 deer. That's a record for me. On my lease or anywhere. Pretty pleased with that. I still remember someone telling me that lease wouldn't ever amount to anything. It certainly seems much better than it was when I joined in 2018.

I have 3 deer at the processor, that's gonna be a big bill.
