Got a doe. Seen more deer than I have in a long time but no bucks. It’s right the opposite at my club, seen less deer this year than the last 5 years. Been super slow in the whole area, last two weekends I’ve heard 6-8 shots and that it. The deer are here according to the sign I’ve found, they just holding tight it seems. It was like that for my first 3 hunts at my club this year. Used to see 6-10 on average on a gas line clearing but I think the planted pines it runs through just aren’t holding deer like they used to now that it’s old enough that you can actually walk through it. Sat on the one greenfield that’s actually green right and that’s what they were flocking to.
