Walked up on a young buck coming in. My number one buck got shot yesterday evening. That stings but there are a few more walking around maybe I can run across one of them. Good luck fellas

Nothing so far in lowndes at club. No shots either. Watching a big 3yo cutover with a plot in it. But, I usually see 90% of my morning deer between 7 and 8am so it’s about that time. Good luck!

Got a doe. Seen more deer than I have in a long time but no bucks. It’s right the opposite at my club, seen less deer this year than the last 5 years. Been super slow in the whole area, last two weekends I’ve heard 6-8 shots and that it. The deer are here according to the sign I’ve found, they just holding tight it seems.

It was like that for my first 3 hunts at my club this year. Used to see 6-10 on average on a gas line clearing but I think the planted pines it runs through just aren’t holding deer like they used to now that it’s old enough that you can actually walk through it. Sat on the one greenfield that’s actually green right and that’s what they were flocking to.

Saw 9 turkey, 2 river otters, and the usual passel of squirrels. Was definitely on instruments on the boat ride in due to the fog.
