My brother got to eyeing it and worried me until I let him get it, with the instructions that it comes back to me if he ever sells it. Had a trigger job done on it, and mounted an older VXIII 2.5-8x36. It's a surprisingly good shooter even with the short, thin profiled barrel.

got a stud on camera.... hung a stand in the woods....sighted in a Dirty Thirty sporting a 2-7x Redfield. It's a JM 18" Texan think it came from K Mart.
The situation has now gone and gotten serious. I pulled out a couple boxes of Win 170gr. SilverTips from cira 1988. You gotta have confidence in your equipment.
$4k bolt guns can sit at the house for this job.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

Guess ima tote the the model seven 260 and wife will be with the 6.5. Probably swap to the 7mm-08 model seven at some point or the 308.

I bought a heavy barrel savage axis ii last year and put a accupoint on it. All i got to shoot with it was a couple of foxes. I reckon im gona give it another try. I might try to kill one with daddys winchester 30-30. Thats the first rifle i ever deer hunted with 34yrs ago. I still havent ever killed a deer with it. I might kill a spike with it just because.

Remington 7600 pump in 7mm-08. Trigger up grade. It’s a tack driver. I also use it in Wyoming for Antelope.

Well I’ve got a choice to make since I did some trading and got my old rifle back…
Tikka T3x in 7mm08
Or
Ruger M77 MKll in .30-06 with the skeleton stock replaced with a wood laminated stock

Trued 700 lilja barrel , meopta meostar 2-12x ,stocky stock,bedded by me . timney trigger
Shoots 1/2 moa on a bad day with 175 gr Berger vld hunters in 308 with rl15 powder.my first attempt with Berger vld hunters.very nasty doe dirt nap so far

Ruger American in 7-08 or 6.5 Grendel. Win 70 in 264WM is sidelined for a scope clearance issue.
