If the deer isn’t pressured he will be back but probably won’t screw up moving in daylight anymore until the rut. If it’s the rut and I was to miss one I’d be back in that spot until I killed him.

Go back the next week and jump him in the same place, or real close to it. I’ve also jumped that morning, went back and monkey hunted that evening and kill him slipping back in to where he was bedded. Sure enough. Last edited by 000buck; 11/22/23 04:42 PM.

Buddy of mine killed him the last weekend of the season about 100yds from where he was shot opening weekend. No, he was chasing a doe that second time so tifwiw. The harder I practice, the luckier I get.
