![[Linked Image]](https://i.postimg.cc/j57FVPvf/Screenshot-20231121-204708-Google.jpg) Todd, heres several pictures of the animal you just said dont exist The animal that is erroneously called a "black panther" is actually a rare melanistic form of either a leopard or jaguar. THERE ARE NO BLACK PANTHERS. Never have been. Are you now claiming that Alabama has jaguars and leopards? Seen them too have you. LOL! What else have you seen in the woods? A T-rex? Dragon?

Todd. You’re obviously a commie and that’s your right we’re in America. And I seen a black panther in Sylacauga in 1992 it was on some land that UAB owned and my friends dad had access and let us hunt it. Even hav a single wide we used to stay in. I’m not the only one who seen it either. Now weather anyone believes it I could care less Amazing that one person has seen a black panther, bigfoot and a mt lion all in Alabama. Wow, what are the odds? I'd recommend not dropping acid before you go hunting. Might cut down on these rare sightings.

I chased a big black cat on a motor cycle when i was 14yo. I came around the back of my mamas trailer on my motorcycle and it jumped out of some bushes growing up close to it. It ran and i fell in behind it. It was as big as a grown dog and had a tail as long as it was, a fat tail, not a skinny tail like dogs have. I chased it about 200yds i guess into a pine thicket. I lost it there. And i know that sounds crazy. I know nobody in the world will believe it. It still happened. I was within 20ft of it for a second or two. The people living through the woods behind mama had a bunch of chickens. I figured it had been up there to catch one. Other people around there said they saw that cat. It was definately a cat, probably 100lbs or bigger. It was jet black. Long fat curved tail. Kinda like alot of things, anybody else believing it dont make it true or not. It happened whether anybody believes it or not. I can still see it 30yrs later

Panthers are not jaguars but both are big cats. They’re has been black jaguars in Alabama. In a fence. So technically they have been in Alabama and it may have only been one but since we’re in the nut cutting yes at least one has been in Alabama. Have they broken out or got loose is the question. Lighting conditions can attribute to perceived colors. Backlit etc…… Has misidentification happened, absolutely it has and more often than not. Eye witnesses are not always correct. Things happen but to be absolute in denial of something that is plausible is being a bit much. There used to be a big exotic pet trade. Not sure now but at one time there were some tropical cats kept by some wealthy folks.

Y’all need to get a map of Alabama and study it.
Where are these “dark places” that nobody ever goes?
What is the largest piece of property in Alabama without some type of road running through it?
I seriously doubt that there is a single place in the State where you could drop someone off in the middle of the woods and they can’t walk out within an hour or two.
I was a practicing forester for 15 years. In the woods nearly every day. These places where “nobody has ever been” or “nobody goes” do not exist. in my younger years i hunted swamps and nasty places nobody would hunt. very very few people gonna go in a place that when you come back from you look like you been in a knife fight or your muddy up to your waste . top of that it takes 3 or 4 hours to drag a 170 ,,, 180# or so gutted buck out . in some of those place timber cutting is what caused them to be like that .

I’ll bite.
Do I think there could be MLs in Alabama. Sure. Passing thru or roaming. Absolutely a sliver of a chance. The chance of any of us seeing one is way less than me killing a limit of gobblers so odds are pretty low.
But please stop with the black panther talk. Just stop.

Me and my son saw a regular colored one standing on a hill on side of the road one night right above Blountsville coming gome from Guntersville. It was standing there off the side of the road waiting to cross the road. It was a big one too, long tail. We looked at each other and said "did we just see that" or something like that. It happened pretty fast and there wasnt time for pictures. No we didnt turn around, we were pulling a boat. Why ive had several experiences with them and some of yall never have any, i dont know. Its kinda like my wife and big bucks. She sees them around here pretty often. I rarely ever see one. She will come in 6-8 times every winter talking about the big buck she just saw up the road. I hunt them every day and rarely see one

They owned Southern Sash and was developing a neighborhood in Sheffield where they lived. They also had other exotics and the entrance sign/cage to The Oaks had spider monkeys. A friends father had to take care of them and he eventually went out on his own and started a company and made bank because of his hatred of those monkeys. 😂

Sometimes her and my son are together and see them. She usually discribes them a little bigger than he does but not boone and crocket big

And yall say that alot too. Like somebody who has tripped acid some wont know the difference in seeing something while hallucinating and seeing something stone cold sober. Most people can tell if theyre tripping acid
