Alpaca wool socks are really good but American Bison wool socks are better in cold weather. I have a few pairs of both Alpaca and American Bison wool socks but when it gets really cold I always go with the American Bison wool socks. I wear a American Bison wool head cover and gloves as well to help stay warm while sitting still on them real cold mornings. I bought a pair of Bison wool , knee highs at Unclaimed Baggage . They're a whole nother level.
