Aged egg nog. I always make a batch of it around this time of year, so it will be ready to drink during the holidays. I have a quart mason jar of it in the fridge from last year's batch, I always like to try a little bit of the prior year's to see how it ages.
Hot buttered rum. Only time of year I make it, you have to look past the ingredients list, the whole is much greater than the sum of the parts. I use Mount Gay rum, has just enough of the caramel flavor but doesn't over power it. Aged egg nog? Doesn’t it spoil? Not if it has enough alcohol.
