Never seen one myself but I know here in northern Blount county back in the 70s everyone was reporting seeing them. If I remember right there was an article in the Advertiser gleam out of Guntersville about it. One thing I did see 20 plus years ago was to Bear cubs. No sow just the cubs on the edge of a field.
