CEL came on the other day and gas mileage and performance has gone down bad, got a scanner and it gave this secondary air pump relay code. I figured something may have gotten wet or got some bad gas, or the gas cap being too loose. So I disconnected the battery, gave the throttle body a good cleaning and about to hook it back up and see if it gets its ass off its shoulders. Anyone really had to replace the air pump on n these? 2016 5.7

Tundras are notorious for issues with the pumps.
The AIP valve will eventually stick in the open position and throw a code that will put it in limp mode. Buy the bypass kit from Hewitt-Tech and you won’t have to worry about it again.
