Thanks gents. He was a master of his craft for sure. Stocks were his forte, but he did everything but the engraving.
I can't wait to see yall's rifles with some big bucks in the field.

had gundoc swap out the barrel on a ruger american for a predator contour 22-250 1:10 twist barrel to shoot some 62gr barnes ttsx. put the action in a indian creek chassis for the adjustable l.o.p. for me and my 6 year old to both shoot it. timney trigger at 1.75lbs and topped with a leupold vx5 3-15x56. previously had a ruger ranch 5.56 in the chassis and it worked incredibly well for both of us. look forward to seeing how the barnes performs skipping along at 3500+. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.postimg.cc/9RsKvKdq/65439166398-3-C217-A20-DEAB-4281-B45-A-73-FC9-B53-C68-C.jpg) Cool looking gun. Watch that 6 year old on that trigger. Might scare her to death lol

The 22-6mm uses the 6mm Remington cartridge and the Middlestead uses the 243 Win The 6mm Rem gives a little more case capacity thus a little more speed and distance and uses slower burning powders which gives more BBL life

Weatherby or savage in 7 mag or 25-06. Depends on the area and my mood. I have one spot I'll even break out the old 🗝️ thirdy thirdy...

I like hunting with my ML, especially for meat hunts. This year I thought about not shooting my T/C ML before taking it hunting and then decided, what the heck. I am glad I did! I had 3 of 4 ring screw heads broken. I have never had something like that happen in 45 years of hunting. I don't recall any specs on the 15+ year old rings. As far as I know, they have been intact even through last year when I took a nice buck. Since I chucked the old rings, I decided to add an optic with my new rings. I added a Riton 1 Primal 4-16X44 MOA reticle. I chose the MOA reticle so that I could dial in my ballistic data and have better distance aiming points. We all know that getting a clear sight picture is important because once you pull that trigger, you can't see a thing until the smoke clears. T/C Pro Hunter
