I thought I would have more time to hunt but the baby and work are hindering me from going. I’m saving up to go here in a couple of weeks when rut starts crankin and then plan to hit south bama in January. Usually am good for a nice buck or two but who knows this year. Hope I can contribute as we are getting low on deer meat 😂

Well gun season here apparently and had a young 4-6 bed down 20 yards from me until coyote came after it…coyote wasn’t so lucky lol

Congrats Coosa. I’m currently in a tree in Illinois I sat here yesterday afternoon for my first hunt and when I got to the top of the tree with my climber I turned around and there was a decent buck trotting 80 yards away. It’s beautiful up here and there are some absolute stud deer on the side of the road. And we’ve seen a few killed

Well fellas I got a doe this morning. It was a lot of first for me.
First deer on Public land
First deer with archery equipment (shot it with a crossbow)
First deer I’ve killed out of state (Illinois)
First deer I’ve killed in my climber.
I’ll get a picture up when I have better service
