I look at death as just the beginning for me. I'm making the best of my time here but I don't fear or dread dying.

Many years ago, I had a supertachycardia. I was in the ambulance and they had to shut my heart down twice. First one for 3 seconds and second time for 9 seconds.
I vivively remember the second time. I was present, but not present. My body felt like I was floating to the ceiling of the ambulance straps. It was a like a fireworks show, quiet and then floating. Suddenly, they restarted my heart and I was breathing as hard as I ever had trying to suck oxygen through the mask.
When we finally arrived at the hospital, it had returned to normal. There was about 15 people in my hospital room with a crash cart. Doc said I was lucky. If the second shot of adenocart didn't work, they would have paddle me while I was awake.
Make a long story short, my fear of death was gone. I am a long time believer too. Folks may think that Jesus is BS, but I would rather believe now, then do nothing and find out later the Bible is true and so is Jesus.
I will post my life after death experience when I get more time. I remember all of it. The golden brick road, gate, fence, the gate keeper. I saw a huge white chair behind the fence like the Abe Lincoln chair. It was probably 5 story buildings high. The darkness on the way there. Walking over the clouds, everything. The warm love feeling. My friend died beside me and he was with me laughing.

You can’t watch a few of them without knowing that our earthly body is just a body but our spirit is everlasting. There even some that talks about quantum physics and consciousness to explain the soul of someone. Basically, the energy of your soul is physics based and the afterlife is the culmination of this energy where infinite peace, joy, and love abounds. It’s in interesting relationships between science and religion in how they mesh together. As for me, it solidifies (even more than my faith) my belief of God, Heaven, Hell.
