had gundoc swap out the barrel on a ruger american for a predator contour 22-250 1:10 twist barrel to shoot some 62gr barnes ttsx. put the action in a indian creek chassis for the adjustable l.o.p. for me and my 6 year old to both shoot it. timney trigger at 1.75lbs and topped with a leupold vx5 3-15x56. previously had a ruger ranch 5.56 in the chassis and it worked incredibly well for both of us. look forward to seeing how the barnes performs skipping along at 3500+. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.postimg.cc/9RsKvKdq/65439166398-3-C217-A20-DEAB-4281-B45-A-73-FC9-B53-C68-C.jpg)

You can shoot that standing up.

I think I'm finally going to take out the rifle my stepfather built. Custom 7x57 Mauser built on a b & b'd 1909 Argentinian action. Very nice stick of wood on it, bone charcoal case hardened accents, express sight, but topped with a VX-3 4.5-14x40. It's almost too pretty to take out, but I'll keep working up the courage.
