i saw on a video years ago on how to “time” your 3 blade broadhead with your vanes is to use a rubber band made for braces between the broadhead and insert. i used it to make sure my rage was vertical with the string and not horizontal as i shoot with my fingers out away from the grip to make sure i don’t grip/torque the bow. the rubber band gives you about a 1/2 rotation of friction before it bottoms out. i will use 2 sometimes if it won’t get snug where i want it. i think this gives the broadhead the ability to turn /rotate when it hits something solid and i’ve never had an issue breaking or bending blades. i killed 4 with the same broadhead and blades and never sharpened the blades or replaced them. just food for thought
