Seems Lake City has canceled all civilian commercial contracts for 5.56, 9 mm, 308 and similar. And suspicious that at the same time Hornady had its explosion. What's next?

Prices are already creeping up. And alot of distributors are selling out.
Plus I doubt the IMI ammo will last much longer in the shelves.

I have been fortunate in the past few years to get some good deals on well kept ammunition from Estate Sales. Went to one in Shorter, Alabama 3 years ago. Deceased Man of the house had accumulated at LEAST $15,000 worth of mostly Shotgun and Rifle Ammunition. Many long-guns sold as well. In addition to ammunition.....I bought a Remington Model 600 in .243 and an H&K .22 Magnum Automatic. Both had quality Leupold Scopes.

That's why my wife knows, or has at least been told, the value of what I have.
She also knows which of my friends to call for help with selling if something happens to me.

I wish I could find 308 ammo my AR10 a s 700 sps both likes so I could load it. Maybe this coming summer.

Lapua had suspended some of their cases sometime ago, due to military constraints. Or so they say.
