I would plant corn and beans. Probably have a better payoff that way. Find / make more areas to plant food for them. Feed will eat your budget alive. Record rack and deer draw is what I’ve used over the years. Stuff is just to pricey for me right now. I never fed enough to make a big difference but the deer really loved it. I have pictures of a doe pushing feed out for her fawn to eat off the ground.
I certainly agree! A lot of interesting literature out from Tx to read on supplementary feeding. Basically, it’s all or nothing. Really wanting to continue but need a cheaper high protein feed. Buying in bulk is no issue it’s just finding what’s out there.
