Glad your ok. Later did you see if some how safety might have been off. That is not a long fall to set off the X Bow.

Glad you are OK, could have been much worse even if the arrow went where it did....you could have fallen out of the stand as well!
I don't hunt with a crossbow but even if you cock it and leave the bolt out, that string can take a hand off if it lets loose so still have to be very careful hauling it up in a stand!
Hope your recovery goes quick and that fabric doesn't get infected and have to be removed.
