Uh, I know. We only have 3 boats heading over for this one. The others don't want to catch tiny fish for a 3 hour drive. I'm looking forward to it. Ready to get away!

Want too but mine can only fish BN and East AL due to his age. We’ll kick off at Wheeler.

Thanks for the offer. Hopefully, we won't have to holler...but great to know there's help there if we need it. Thanks man.

Been to Wheeler once...loved it! Big water and lots of opportunity. "They" were pulling water hard during our practice day up there last year...that was the scariest time I've been on freshwater in a boat. Giant waves and INTENSE current. We could either ease back to the landing 5 or 6 miles away at a snail's pace up and down and up and down, or we could plane her and pop, pop, poppity-pop across the tops of the waves running 40-plus. We chose to pop across the top, and it was painful and rough. We made it to the harbor where we took two big waves over the bow of the boat slowing down to turn in the harbor. It was touch and go for a minute, but we made it. The water was perfect for the tournament, and the boys caught fish.

I’m looking forward to him getting the experience and he is excited about the trails. He’s young but has the attention span and want to be out there and fish all day. I keep him on the water every weekend. I just hope his partner can last. I plan to make it fun for them and take breaks to keep from burning them out too soon.

Yeah, certainly give them some breaks during the day. It can get hot and monotonous out there. I have to make my son and his partner take a break! They won't eat, drink, or take the time to spray on sunscreen or anything! I have to say, "Hey, it's time to eat real quick and drink something. Ya'll are going to dehydrate yourselves."
