Red or Crimson clover. Crimson is an annual and Red is a perennial but in the south more of a annual two years at best

Gotcha. Crimson still pops up at the farm. I had a field of 20 plus acres of it. Guys said deer won’t eat it. They wore it out. Wished I still had pics of it.

Lockjaw, I know your passionate about your patches. Sped a few minutes and either cut or defoliate them worthless gums so you don’t have a carpet of leaves. Cut every pine limb you can reach or you will loose that strip in a couple years.

I'm going to try. I have worked the last 4 saturdays, I worked all of labor day weekend out there. I broke my disk frame, so waiting on that. I have to order another shooting house for another spot we cleared. Then I need to disk in the lime in on 3 spots.

What I could really use is a member passionate about shooting houses and stand placement.... LOL!!

I will probably take a couple days off and just work out there.
