I do love the 6" for general packing and range work, but I'm going to Alaska next summer for archery caribou and I would prefer the shorter and lighter model. maybe I misspoke on the model, I was thinking the classic was the partial underlug, but it appears that refers to the full underlug model. mine is the 6" with half underlug (dirty Harry configuration but in stainless)
