The worst is people that bring their dogs to hotels! I’ve never been a dog person so I don’t want to stay in a room where the previous occupants brought their “canine children”. At the end of the day, they’re not still dogs that lick their butts.
There are plenty of hotels that do not allow pets and should be easy to see the pet policy before booking. La Quinta hotels, where I stay exclusively when I travel with my dogs, keeps one floor free of pets.
