Disagree, for 4 main reasons.

1. The streaming services have the same service disruptions due to $ disputes as cable/satellite.

2. There is a significant lag between live and streaming...average of 20-40 seconds when viewing live sports.

3. Changing channels is a pain...especially on game days when you're flipping back and forth between 2 or 3 different games. There's no "recall" or "last channel" button. You have to go to the guide and scroll every single time to change channels.

4. Many don't live in an area with strong enough internet to stream tv.

I'm not 100% opposed to going to streaming in the future, but as long as I can keep renegotiating my bill with Dish to stay within $10 or so, which I did about 3 weeks ago, I'll stay with them...with the lag and the channel swapping issues listed above as my reasons.

This. My wife switched us over to internet tv and I still hate it. Even if you have all the games lined up for easy access for last watched, one you click on it that damn spinning circle will run for a few minutes and if it’s overloaded then the screen will freeze up. Then you have to turn the tv off and start all over again. We have Spectrum everything.

Yup.

Truth be told...streaming is best for saving a little money, and that's about it. It has no other advantages over cable/satellite. I hate that it's that way, but it's true.
