Judge Dunn built a timber pier there in the 50's. It delineated the private beaches from the public beaches. We had a block cottage next door. The Four Seasons built one of the first "high rise" condos in that part of orange beach back in the early 80's. They subsequently built 2 more units next to it and the last one is a single unit per floor "all penthouse" type condo. They rebuilt the pier which I believe was grandfathered in without a permit in the mid 80's. It was almost destroyed after Ivan (I think) and repaired again. I doubt it's much of a money make for them.

not sure what the best way to handle them is but they shouldnt be on tv and gettn married and raisin kids
