Had to go to the Walmarts the other day and stopped by the pisser. A guy that was at the next urinal had on a thick coat with a thick fur collar and I think afur fringe around the bottom. I don't know if that was his shoplifting jacket, a fashion statement or if he is the coldest natured man in Alabama. Looked like a 20 something yo to me.

Can we make fun of beanies, toboggans, wool caps in the summer?
Cause when I make fun of these awful birdnest, wooly mammoth looking, thick nasty haircuts they wear around perched on top of a boys head - I’m told to shut up and stop making fun of it. But that mess is just as hot if not worse.

My boys wear sweatshirts to school neatly every day. Yesterday one of them had on a t-shirt underneath it. In their defense, the school must be hanging meat in there somewhere because they keep the a/c BUMPING! The times I’ve been in there, I honestly don’t see how anyone stands it. Even the principal wears wool sports coats on a regular basis. You’d think he would turn up the thermostat some.

One of my boys wears a dang full jacket everyday, with shorts. He likes having all the pockets to put crap in. He is heat resistant and hates the cold like me so I let it slide. I hate too damn cold air conditioning too.

It has become so common that its normal now I see it too. All the time. I don’t know how anybody can survive wearing a hoodie in this heat but they do it.

They’ve been wearing sweaters and shorts for a long time. I saw it at the baseball fields 30 years ago. Those people just wanted attention. IMO

I don't understand the wool beanie in the heat of summer either. Heck, I don't even like wearing them when it's cold and I need one, they itch me like crazy. Couldn't imagine how much they would itch in 100 degree weather.

The same thing could be said for the kids that wear $200 tennis shoes daily at a public school. Seems like you would want to save those expensive shoes for more important occasions.
