Looks like it got sold before it went into bankruptcy mode. The new owners are the same owners of Dunkin, Sonic, Jimmy Johns, and a bunch of others. For a company that specializes in making sammiches, they SUCK at making sammiches.

Not long ago I was at a Love's gas station in Louisiana that had a Subway as part of it. The Love's employees were bitching out loud and openly about the Subway employees and how they can't keep their part clean. I just got a cup of coffee and got out of there before it got worse.

Don't we have a member here that owns a Subway franchise or two, down around Pensacola maybe? Either way, Subway isn't as good as it used to be.

Subway was ok when you could get one of several sandwiches for $5 for a foot long. But they’re not nearly good enough to warrant what they charge for them now. For what they cost, I’ll take Jimmy Johns instead

They made a good sub in the beginning, then they started selling stores to rag heads and the quality went down. Been years since I had one.

Quiznos was much better, but all of them in Chattanooga area closed, bankruptcy. My family practice rotation in PA school had a Quiznos across the parking lot, I had lunch there every day.
Finally deported myself from the peoples republik of Kaliforkistan.
