Russia's robotic moon lander crashed into the Moon instead of landing. Seems they lost contact it just long enough to lose control of it. hmmmmm. https://www.cnn.com/2023/08/20/world/luna-25-spacecraft-moon-collision-intl/index.html

Seems like we had the same issue several years ago because it supposedly had some type of disc of information and pictures of humanity and was made to withstand extreme conditions but crashed and they said it likely survived being designed to last millions of years. Least that’s their story.

All of the countries copy/steal US and German technology- if we could successfully stop the stealing of our technology, China, Russia, India…etc would be completely ignorant.

Can you imagine being an Astronaut (Cosmonaut) on that thing?
You'd be like, "Whelp..."

You'd be like, "Whelp..." Hah! That poor RC race car didn't stand a chance.

There is so much going on in the world the American people are completely clueless about. It's really not a good thing that we are so un-informed.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

Hard to get informed when the "news" is no longer news (just propaganda). News papers no longer exist...or are extremely rare. It's a crying shame that i have to go to a deer hunting talk forum to get news snippets to digest. I'll even say this to show my point...I was really surprised at the people that had no idea what the string of "lights" cruising across the night sky was. Was thinking everyone had heard about starlink?
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

Weren’t they running off of a Commodore 64 or TRS80? (If you know, you know.) Nope, they upgraded to the Tandy 1000EX with a whopping 256kb of RAM, 5 1/4 floppy and dot matrix printer (this is actually what I got for Christmas the summer of 1987). TRS80 is what I wrote my first program on in the summer of 1986. Jeremy

Typical Russians. They talk a big game. Can't do stuff we did decades ago. The intelligent people had enough sense to leave that chit hole of a country

Russia is an enigma, mainly because they are all seemingly intelligent, but can't seem to dig their way out of the imperial, socialist, authoritarian hole in which they live.

My first was a TI-55, learned to program in BASIC and saved programs to one of the new style cassette players.
