Lord have mercy he still has the breathing tube and now they are talking about doing a tracheostomy on Friday...and it for sure didn't help that the heart doctor just came in and said that most survive but some don't 😔 we didn't need to hear that..mama will not allow that to happen

UPDATE 8/17/23
They say my father has to taper off some of the current medications to do the trach..it's planned for Monday...the lung doctor and viral disease doctors seem to think he has HSV pneumonia...herpes simplex viral pneumonia...not sure how they came up with conclusion but plan to start him on a different type of antibiotics for 2 weeks😔😢..my wife and mama are/were nurses and have never heard of this viral disease...upon reading it seems to be a rare variant... therefore not to much info as far as cures etc... Please continue to pray for his fast healing and my mother's sanity...thanks

Sent. Had a friend’s father end up in bad shape after quadruple bypass stayed in ICU for a month I think, told the family come say goodbye a couple of different times. That was 1.5 years ago and today he is healthy as ever. Hang in there.

What's ironic is the heart and that surgery went as planned...the heart doctor for the life of him can't comprehend what's going on with the other issues...
