I stopped by my local Cabela's to look and price new scopes. The counter guy was telling me he has been shipping high end glass like Zeiss, Nightforce, and Swarovski to the Ukraine for the past few months. He says some guy comes in once a week and spends a few thousand dollars and has them shipped directly overseas. Has anyone seen a shortage anywhere?

They waived the itar restrictions on some items for Ukraine. Other items like firearms have to be sent through Poland.

Lol, no that’s not true.
Go ahead and try exporting a bunch of night vision/thermal scopes…you’ll quickly out why you’ve stated is untrue.

Think it's just certain ones that are used by the military like ACOG's, etc. Could be wrong on that though.

It may be legal or even ok in the eyes of the gubberment for now, but with the way this current administration can change its mind at the drop of a hat I do not think I would be taking a chance on doing that.

There’s a strong possibility the Cabela’s counter guy is 100% CODE BROWN . . . full of chit. 💩💩💩

The fact that he said Swarovski is a good indicator, NOBODY is carrying Swaro into battle

That’s some funny stuff right there. A $20 an hour person talking about what he sells and ships. I thought BP had an online/ phone business for that.

No I haven’t a clue, probably only 420.69 blunts per 350,000,000 citizens per day.

In the mid 80s I knew gentleman by the name of Thomas V Posey who created an organization called the Civilian Military Assistance program for aiding the good side in Nicaragua Civil War. His contact was a White House Aide. Everything was fine until the Iran/Contra scandal blew open and he was eventually found guilty, two years in prison, and fined $20K.
