A 9 foot bull shark is about as big as you will see. They will weigh a lot because of girth. Dusky sharks can definitely be much longer. Length can vary depending on whether it is measured to the fork or to the end of the tail. Could have been an 11 foot bull if measured measured with the tail stretched out. If anyone is in the Fort Walton beach area and would like to see a bunch of huge tiger sharks, just come to Okaloosa Island Pier right now. The LYS are dying and the tigers are scooping them up like vacuum cleaners. Tarpon are doing pretty good right now as well.
