I try, and fail often, to be a missionary in my everyday walk

There is no need for a Christian to have to defend mission trips to foreign lands; Jesus commanded His followers to go and teach "all nations." That's the only reason anyone needs to give for going. Nobody can go to every place, but everybody can go somewhere.
