My son spent the summer in Honduras last year working as a missionary. He is getting married in January and going back to Honduras in the spring with his wife and serving there for around 3 years. It’s tough there. Can be really dangerous if you don’t know what you are doing. But serving a people like that will change you. I’ve seen the change in him. Most kids there don’t have a father. The men move to the states to work, send money home for awhile, until they get a girlfriend here and then they abandon their family back home. Lots of youth growing up with no fathers, hustling in the streets. It takes a special person to want to reach those kids for Christ.
