I got it due to work requirements and then they dropped it a couple of weeks later. Pissed to say the least.
Wife took it end of this June as a requirement for a Viking Crusie we did to Europe. Got ready to get on the boat and was not asked once about it after all documentation and phone conversations said we would need proof of vaccination before embarking. She was livid.
We both had the stuff and got over it even though it did take some time to get our wind back.

Took the first and second shot for travel purposes only. It was a choice that had zero to do with covid. Id already had it before I took it.

I took the J and J vaccine. No boosters. Have heart issue and was not forced. I hope the kids will keep the farm when I croak but if not someone will get a great place to hunt.

I had someone younger than me and close to me die from Covid. At that point my wife and myself got the vaccine. With that said, I had Covid last week. Pretty rough stuff.

This is not directed at the poster, but just to give an opinion on a narrative pushed during all of this. Knowing what we know now, does the vaccine keep you from spreading the virus to others? I don't think it does or did. But yet this was the narrative to force people to get vaccinated against their will. Don't get the shot? You can't go see your dying mother. Infuriating.

I took it - had not planned to - company and office i work in put out pretty good pressure - i caved. Most in my company took it and lot of people i no took it and lot of people in nursing home my mom in took it - including her. I work in very large industry - most people in production i call on took it - i guess i no 100s that took it. We hav lost 1 guy in our company in 5 years that employs 100s - i would think that normal

I am very glad all the people i no that took it seem to be doing well including my mom and her very old friends. I had a few friends that hollered and stomped and said they never take it - but when people close to them dies w covid w out shot - they lined that butt up and took

I hate the hole ordeal - always hated seeing it - was a very negative time - i shared my opinion on here about it amd looking back - that was ignorant - its a personal choice and none of us at the time were aware if we were right or wrong. I understand both sides but - I was not qualified to be an expert on it. I hav gotten in way to many squables on here - more than i care to remember and thats dumb doing that. I hav been a good judge in my mind for way to long - we not supposed to judge - but i prob achieved expert status in my mind at times which is my own fault
I wrong way to much to comment really - but if it were me and i truly thought jab caused death - i wouldnt b posting a joke on internet site about it - but hey - i got a mountain of things i done wrong in my life amd continue to struggle to try to liv right

I took the J&J vaccine once. I knew I did not want that MRNA crap, so I settled on that one. This was early on when the bad strain was still out and many folks were ending up in ICU. Looking back, I wish I wouldn't have, but I have no effects from it that I'm aware of.

Nope I didn't and won't. I work in public safety dealt with a bunch of PT that supposedly had covid. I'm sure I had it once or twice. I asked my chief if we were gone be required so I'd know when to turn in my notice and was told we couldn't be forced to get it. And I got that in writing. My wife was forced cause she wouldn't stand her ground. This was not a vaccine by any stretch as a vaccine prevents a disease. Btw I don't take the flu or other Bs shots that are recommended.
Wife been having some cardiac issues since taking it no prior hx.
This was no different than when swine flu was gone kill everyone just a another try.

I didn't. Was willing to walk from a pretty good job too. After the deadline had passed my friends were telling me I was crazy to let this job go. But I'm stupid like that.

It didn't hurt me and neither did the 2 legal size pages of other vaccines I have been stuck with.

I’ve had every shot you can imagine. I been taking a flu shot for 20 years. J&J Covid shot and booster, pneumonia shot and a Shingles vaccine. I ask the Lord for wisdom and discernment. As for me and my family we will trust the Lord. Our health and future are in his hands.

At the time, I knew 3 people that were healthy and died horrible deaths from covid. My wife and I took the first 2 Pfizer shots. Then reports started coming out of the clot issues, the Government pushed even harder for the vax. We never took another one and wont. I just hope the first 2 have been washed out of our systems. Ive now had covid 3 times, 1st time was nothing, 2nd time was a little worse but still nothing bad. The 3rd time, my Doc gave me a prescription for it and it knocked it out. (Not sure what that was) It is pitiful the Government has put us in this position. It kinda goes along with how crazy this country has become.

Statistics... They are a pain in the ass sometimes.

Had Covid March 2020, like the worst sinus infection I've ever had, sick as heck for two weeks, coughed for 3 months.

Had Covid August 2021, spent 14 days in the hospital (never vented), don't remember anything about it. Have had asthma-like symptoms since, but that has 98% gone away now. Lost taste and smell 8 months afterwards, just now have smell back. Had all sorts of odd symptoms for months, but as best as I can tell, it's all gone now.

Took the first vaccine (my own choosing) in October 2021. Took a booster in June 2022. At least to this point, there's zero effect from either shot. Have no intentions to ever take another though. Not a political decision, just decided it wasn't necessary, and honestly the incessant fear-mongering about their side-effects caused me to be suspicious of them.

Had Covid for a 3rd time in Feb/Mar of 2023, basically a barely-noticeable sinus infection feeling for a few days. We just had an at-home test still hanging around from the previous year, so I took it out of curiousity, and it showed positive. (there was a lot of folks locally at that time who were being diagnosed with it)

No point in that timeline, just giving you my experience with Covid and the vaccine.
