has been a joke for years
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

I remember way back when it was good they were giving out free cans of snuff and all kinds of cool stuff. You could test ride atv's on dirt there too. Haven't been to it in years.

The sad part is that the show is a great idea. By this time in the dog days of summer most of us are ready to spend a day thinking about the fall.

I went there yesterday. Picked up my taxidermy panels from my supplier who has a booth there every year. Saves the HIGH cost of shipping. I met them at their trailer at one of the loading docks. Wasn't about to pay $25.00 entry fee to go inside. It's not what it used to be for me and I sure didn't need to buy anything.

I went a few years ago and have not been back. Like y’all said, it’s nothing but fudge, vinyl siding, high fence hunts, etc.
I don’t understand the concept of paying for the privilege of walking through advertising booths.

It’s been probably 15+ years.
I had never met the man before, but Ray Scott(Bass Masters) hung out with us for probably an hour or better walking around talking with the vendors. I can’t say much about the show, but Ray couldn’t have been more of a gentleman. I’ll always remember him for being so kind.
