I remember about 20-25 years ago that you could buy a "broke into" dish or direct tv box. Get all kinds of "free stuff". I remember one year, everyone was watching the Superbowl and dish/direct suddenly shut those channels down...it got lots of folks. lol Direct TV done that . They killed the chips in the hacked cards with voltage charge. The chips they use now are the same as CC and debit cards . Breaking those old cards were easy for free tv.
