I currently have all of those but I'm only actually paying for YTTV and Netlix. I'm bartering my logins for other family members' logins to the rest laugh

They keep threatening to cut down on that but so far they haven't.

I have Netflix, Prime, apple tv and Hulu, also watch a lot of youtube ( i pay for the no ads version and its worth it to me) but you can get tv channels for free on a ton of apps that you can download on firestick, roku, apple tv etc. I use Pluto and theres WAAAAY more TV on there than I could ever watch. the "channels" are very targeted like there's a this old house channel that only plays that show, there are hunting/ outdoor channels that jusat play 1-3 different shows as well. Then I have an antenna for the local network tv/ news, games.

I cut the cord because cable is not an option where we now live. I was leery at first but the money I'm saving over Spectrum has made it all worth while. I could see where jbuc is coming from but I just made a decision based on what we watch most often. We have Youtube TV, Paramount + (which now includes Showtime), Amazon Prime, and my daughter has a couple more Disney and Hulu, but I don't watch them and she pays for those herself. The kicker is that our internet here goes out much, much less frequently than Spectrum cable TV. Sorry, that doesn't answer the OP question about Superbox as I've never heard of it before.

YoutubeTV has SEC Network (along with 3-4 ESPN's, Big 10 Network, ACC Network and several other sports channels). Our YTTV + 1gig of AT&T Fiberoptic internet, combined is less than we were previously paying just for Direct TV.

I don't count the cost of Netflix or the other streaming services I've paid for over the years because we had those even when we had Direct TV.

$70-75/month I think. You can go to their site and see a full channel list

Soooooo- no one using superbox i guess....I may be the guinea pig then.
Superbox channel list includes all the movie channels( HBO/ Showtime/etc.) all the ESPN's and / everything my spectrum pkg. has for a one time purchase price per box. it will pay for itself in 4 mos.
We will see.

There are 2 reviews on Amazon, and they are both 1 star. I don’t see how they can offer the channels for a one time fee of the box and stay in business very long.

I get my local news from Haystack, and watch Pluto or YouTube for entertainment mostly. We’ve had Netflix for two years now at least. They keep just enough on that we don’t cancel them.

I did a deep dive on what this (IPTV) is- I will pass. you are correct. Someone could shut it down any minute because the box provider is not licensed to stream tht content.

I remember about 20-25 years ago that you could buy a "broke into" dish or direct tv box. Get all kinds of "free stuff". I remember one year, everyone was watching the Superbowl and dish/direct suddenly shut those channels down...it got lots of folks. lol

Direct TV done that .
They killed the chips in the hacked cards with voltage charge. The chips they use now are the same as CC and debit cards . Breaking those old cards were easy for free tv.
