I thank you for the advice I looked at your suggested bikes but none seem to have any storage bags but the Tiger seems to be more to my needs as I like to have my rain gear any leather jacket and gloves with me at all times Also some Suzuki vstrom looks likely and the Yamaha fjr
The V-Strom is a good bike, I just never cared for the looks of them. If you want something with luggage, then I can't recommend a bike any more than I could the Triumph Tiger 800. It is a brilliant motorcycle. Fun, utilitarian, fast, handsome and reliable. Plus, in my opinion, the brand has a little panache, and the Triumph riders you meet all seem to be really good folks. We even forgive the guys and gals in our group that buy BMW's.  Well I picked up a 2010 Honda nt700v today and so far so good I will ride it for while but I think that it will be ok if not I will sale it and try again THX for the advice .The Honda just kind of dropped into my lap from nowhere so I bought it.
