I’m certain when automobiles were in early’ish adoption 100 years ago folks were saying the same things about gas stations.
“Everyone has hay, there isn’t enough gas stations, horseless carriages will never catch on!”
True but at least then you could carry extra gas with you. It’s not like you can carry extra electricity now. Not without a generator.
