You’re still going to run into the problem of not having charging stations readily available on your travels. Sure 750 miles is fine if your going home everyday but go on a week long trip, even just to the beach that’s relatively close, and by the time you’ve ran around for a week, you don’t have enough juice to get home.
Charging networks are growing quite quickly.
I’m certain when automobiles were in early’ish adoption 100 years ago folks were saying the same things about gas stations.
“Everyone has hay, there isn’t enough gas stations, horseless carriages will never catch on!”
