This is becoming an extended event that is hard to describe. Very rare. There’s no telling how much rain has fell the last ten days. You can’t catch it blowing sideways that fast.

Another line of tornadic storms has fired up in Miss between Jackson and Meridian...headed our way...again...

We had some trees fall across hwy 43 n clarke today w low winds - we get any wind trees gone laydown everywhere
We had Years of record rain we in now but this is by far wettest we ever been since i been here and we show rain 6 of next 8 days.

First round coming through fayette now. Just rain and lightning, but severe weather is right behind it. I don’t ever remember a time in my life where severe storms were rolling through in June every day of the week.

We are getting hammered right now by what I’m assuming is a tornado.
I’ve never seen or heard thunder and lightning like this. The mix is about 50/50 rain to hail.
I even heard the trademark train sounds. Power went out a little before 3:00.
Gonna be a hell of a mess to clean up.

Watched that storm go through northern Tuscaloosa and Fayette from my front porch
Lot of lightning involved in that one

Had a storm yesterday that laid a big oak on a house up the road and this morning one came through about 4:30 and got our trampoline and swing set,I’m about tired of these storms everyday
