If you buy a Stihl and it doesn’t last you 5-10 years for residential use you are doing something wrong.
This. I've had my Stihl Kombi Motor KM 111R for about 7 years now and it's a beast that's still running like a champ. I have the trimmer, edger, pole saw and mini cultivator attachments for it and it gets used a lot. Not a much as a pro, but far more than a typical homeowner.
