It’s cool to have 3/4 weeks of turkey season with baby turkeys running around. If that little ball of feathers struts and gobbles, he’s getting dealt with.

Didn’t get a decent pic but looks to be 12-14 poults. I have been getting pics of two other hens at this site without any poults, one has about a 6” beard.

I have a cool video of a good friend of mine, that has three hen in his yard in Florida and they all three have poults and there are three different sizes. If someone will send me their number, I’ll send you the video to post. It was taken last Friday morning!

Saw my first poults yesterday. They were tiny. Not even the size of your fist. I guessing something happened to her first nest and she laid again.

Seen a hen with 8-9 poults this morning while spraying. About the size of a quail.
Love a good hunting story, love my family and friends. Some people you can't, but acted like do.

Pulled into the last field to plant beans. She had poults by her actions. I’m had to run them off, she left them and finally flew back as I herded 10-12 small poults to the edge. If I’d been a hungry predator they’d been dead. I’m t was too thick for them to be out in it. They wouldn’t have stood a chance. Hopefully she keeps them in shorter grasses until they can fly. I had to replant some chufa today and saw a hen with 8 to 10 poults a little bigger than a quail. They were old enough to fly. That’s the first I’ve seen this year.
