Kinda enjoyed sitting back and watching this develop. Went pretty much the way I thought it would. I was a JROTC instructor for fifteen years. Also was a Rifle Team, Drill Team, and Raider Team Coach for the entire time. Parents have an interest in school and activities only as long as it deals with their kid. No matter what they say their interests stop as soon as their kid is no longer involved. All kids in all aspects of school are simply temporary. They come and they go. If the teacher/coach can be patient the situation will remedy itself. There will always be another team next year. Don't expect the coach/teacher/principal to have the same interest in your kids as you do. They don't.
