someone tell me is it the fence giving off some kind of alien signal that makes the deer less wild??????? WTH would the single presence of a fence have to do with deer being less wired??? They can look at a fence and tell if they are inside or outside???
It's not the fence, it's what DOES NOT happen to or around deer that live in a fence that makes them easier to kill, IMO. To each his own and if your growing native deer inside a fence that's not nearly as controversial, IMO, as hunting tame bucks from some breeder farm. BUT I've hunted native deer in a fence, once, and from what I saw and heard from that place over the course of a season was convincing enough that these deer were not as hard to kill as free range deer. This particular place was in central/ south Al. Just so happens that I've hunted private free range land with in a couple of miles of where the fence is, so apples to apples as far as land, area, pressure, quality of soil, etc., etc. Just my experience though...
